Things Are Okay

Well, things seem to be alright right now. We lost a member of our Rogers Park crew in a traffic accident. I didn't know him very well but it's tragic. He lived in Brian's building for a long time so he'd be there when there was a barbecue and I'd see him wheeling about on his segway like one tire vehicle when it was warm out. His son is apparently a very in demand Hollywood actor now.

In terms of equipment I think I'm about set. I didn't realize just how old my desktop computer is - I built it six years ago! It's still plenty fast especially now that it's been turned into a Mint Linux box. I could maximize it with my 3060 card since I'm going to be using it to play around with AI stuff but there's no pressing need yet.
